Lower
back pain is one of the most common complaints, and affects those who
are tall, short, heavy, thin, young and old. Back pain can be the result
of improper sitting, lifting, an injury, or an inherited abnormality.
It can get worse from a sedentary lifestyle. Left undetected, other
conditions can result, such as damaged discs and irritated nerves.
Traditional approaches - bed rest, physical therapy, surgery or medication
- are not as effective as specific chiropractic adjustments which help
improve spinal function and correct the underlying cause of the problem.
Studies show that for many sufferers of low back pain, chiropractic
care is safer and more effective than surgery, which is risky and has
a high failure rate. Patients who receive chiropractic care are often
able to return to normal function and activity more quickly than other
patients treated with standard medical treatments.
